Chalet Zolotaj Gorka
Full website UI/UX design from scratch
Chalet Zolotaj Gorka is a cozy vacation retreat offering private houses for rent, each featuring a hot tub and a peaceful natural setting. The client needed a modern, visually appealing website that would attract visitors, provide a smooth booking experience, and reflect the relaxing, luxurious vibe of their properties.
Research & Discovery
Before jumping into design, I needed to understand:
- The target audience (families, couples, groups of friends looking for nature + comfort)
- The competitive landscape (how similar rental services present themselves online)
- The client’s goals: drive more direct bookings, build brand trust, and convey a premium yet cozy experience.
Key Insights:
- Photos and aesthetics are crucial in the booking decision.
- Users want fast access to availability and pricing.
- The vibe should feel natural, relaxing, and trustworthy.
UX Strategy & Wireframing
I mapped out the user journey from discovery to booking. Key UX considerations included:
- Clear value proposition on the homepage
- Easy-to-navigate structure (Home, About, Houses, Booking, Contact)
- Quick access to essential info like location, amenities, and pricing
Then I created low-fidelity wireframes to:
- Focus on content hierarchy
- Test layout ideas
- Align with the client on structure before diving into visuals
UI Design & Visual Language
This is where the magic happened.
I built a custom design system with:
- Warm, earthy colors to evoke nature and calmness
- Elegant typography to emphasize quality
- Large, immersive photos of the houses and surroundings
- Clean, consistent UI elements (buttons, cards, icons)
Every detail—from spacing to color gradients—was tailored to reflect the brand's unique atmosphere.
Responsive Design
The site was fully designed for:
- Desktop
- Tablet
- Mobile
The mobile version wasn’t just a scaled-down version—it was optimized for touch, quick navigation, and on-the-go booking.
Results & Handoff
The final result was a beautiful, user-friendly website that:
- Enhances trust with potential guests
- Showcases the properties effectively
- Supports smooth booking flow
All design files were neatly organized and handed off in Figma for easy implementation by developers.
